What personal information does Bon Vivre collect and how do we use it?

The personal information we collect consists only of data that you have given during the payment process. We only require guests who are using our Wedding Gift Registry to provide us with their name, & the names of the bride & groom to identify the correct registry, while credit card information is not provided to us, it is provided to PayPal only, which is a secure site. 

Does Pictage disclose my personally identifiable information to others? If so, to whom?

If you are a guest, we only collect your name, and this is only disclosed to PayPal, and to the relevant Bride And Groom, to whom you r giving a gift. If you are a Bride or Groom, we collect contact details of name, address, and phone numbers only, purely to be able to communicate to enable your wedding to run as smoothly as possible. Your banking details are not collected, but may be collected by PayPal if you use their site, which is secure. Our Wedding Booking form outlines Terms and Conditions and permission to use images in our promotions, which must be read and signed by you before we can agree to proceed with shooting your wedding.
Our site or social media sites may contain links to other sites. If you jump to these other sites, Bon Vivre will not forward any information it has received from you to the next site, unless we have received prior permission. However, Bon Vivre Photography is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other web sites. Although this Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices or policies of partners, we require that all of our partners agree not to use your personal information, except as fully disclosed to you or authorised by you.

How does Bon Vivre store my personal identifiable information?

Bon Vivre Photography uses a firewall and does not load your address or phone details onto the internet, or even stored on the Cloud. These identifiable details are kept only on our hard drive to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of information. All machines are backed up to external hard drives, not the Cloud. Any archived information is also kept in a secured location.

How is my credit card information protected?

We do not store any credit card information at Bon Vivre. We have partnered with PayPal for our e-commerce capabilities.

Does Bon Vivre use cookies?

We do not use cookies for the Bon Vivre Photography website. However, our social media sites do store and use cookies, under their control. To know more about these, please visit the sites of blogger.com, Facebook.com, and Twitter.com.

Why did you receive an e-mail from us?

You may receive an e-mail from Bon Vivre if, (a) your e-mail address is either listed with us as someone who has willingly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future  or otherwise have an existing relationship with us. 

How can you stop receiving e-mail from us?

If you wish to be removed from our email list, please email us a request to do so.  Please note that requests to be removed from an e-mail distribution list can take up to 7 business days.
If you have received unwanted, unsolicited e-mail sent via this system or purporting to be sent via this system, please forward a copy of that e-mail with your comments to info@bonvivrephotography.com.au for review. We respect your time and attention by monitoring the frequency of our mailings.

Are my pictures available for public viewing?

A small number of selected images may be available for public viewing on Facebook, and/or our blogsite, but we try to limit these to a small number of images of mainly just Bride and Groom and sometimes the bridal party. However, we only do this if you have signed our agreement on our Wedding Booking form. You may also have a small number of images displayed to the public at a later date in our website gallery, but only if you have signed our agreement on our Wedding Booking form. If you view an image on Facebook or our blogsite, or website gallery, that you would like removed, please notify us immediately by email and we will remove it within 48 hours, provided we have internet service available to us. You may instead opt to only have your images accessible online via our password protected online gallery in which case only those people that you give the password to will have access to your wedding photos. 

What do you do with survey responses?

From time-to-time, our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level).
Surveys are normally conducted through SurveyMonkey.com. This is a password protected web site that provides businesses with the software to develop, disseminate, record and analyze survey responses. Your responses are completely confidential and are used to help us tailor our services to you. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site. We appreciate your participation in the on-going development of our service.

Changes to privacy policy

Bon Vivre Photography reserves the right from time to time to make changes to its Privacy Policy.
If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on this site so that our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an e-mail, if you have "opted-in" to receive e-mail notifications. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the Privacy Policy under which the information was collected.

The Bon Vivre Photography website is owned and operated by Bon Vivre Photography Pty Ltd. ("Bon Vivre Photography", "we", or "us"). However, this blogsite is owned by Google, and our other social media sites (Facebook and Twitter) are owned by those respective sites. 
The terms and conditions below apply to your use of this blogsite to make a purchase and the content and services provided herein (collectively, the "Service"). They apply to your purchases of any photographic photographic products offered by Bon Vivre Photography through the Service. So please read these Terms of Service carefully. By using the Service or any portion thereof, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, you must exit this website immediately. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use the Service. If you are not at least eighteen (18) years of age, you must exit this website immediately. We reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions contained herein at any time in our sole discretion. So you must check these Terms of Service periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Service or any portion thereof following the posting of such changes (including but not to any changes to Bon Vivre Photography's Privacy Policy, which is referenced below) will mean that you accept such changes.

1. Service

Bon Vivre Photography hereby grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service solely in accordance with these Terms of Service. You may only use the Service as expressly provided herein. Bon Vivre Photography strives to make the Service available twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. However, there may be occasions when the Service will be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or repairs, or due to the failure of software or telecommunications equipment. You agree that Bon Vivre Photography will not be liable for any such interruptions. You further agree that, except as otherwise expressly provided in a separate written agreement between Bon Vivre Photography and you, Bon Vivre Photography may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any portion thereof at any time and without notice.

2. Processing of Payments

Bon Vivre Photography does not provide or guarantee the processing of payments through Paypal. Paypal is not affiliated with Bon Vivre Photography. All dealings, understandings, and agreements regarding the processing of such payments are solely between you and Paypal. Any dispute you have with PayPal is solely between you and PayPal.

3. Validity of Payments

All payments made successfully will be confirmed by email. As such all payments are non-refundable except in the unlikely event of the cancellation of a wedding.  Pictage reserves the right to make partial shipments of Products.

4. Wedding Cancellation Policy

In the unlikely event that a wedding is cancelled after guests have made payments to the Bon Vivre Photography Wedding Gift Registry, Bon Vivre Photography agrees to refund all Gift Registry payments, on the provision that each guest agrees to have their contact details supplied by the Bride and Groom in order to communicate to obtain the guests'  return account details.

5. Limitations of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, BON VIVRE PHOTOGRAPHY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST REVENUE OR PROFITS (COLLECTIVELY, "INDIRECT DAMAGES"), IN ANY WAY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO PAYMENTS MADE TO OUR WEDDING GIFT REGISTRY. Further limitations to the provision of photographic services to the Bride and Groom are outlined in out Terms and conditions on our Wedding Booking Form.
